Easter
Important Easter Announcement
This year, on April 9, 2023, We're going to be doing something a little different for our Easter Service.
We'll be having our Easter Service in the back of the building, seated around the table, sharing a meal. We're doing things this way for two very special reasons.
That's how the Church of the Bible did things. If you read through the New Testament, you'll soon figure out that the early church did things as a family. Church was usually in a house, and the Lord's Supper was just that...supper. The first Christians didn't sit in pews and read songs on a screen. They met in the homes, got to know each other, and developed relationships over a meal.
We are a family, and we do things that families do. Sharing a meal together is one of the things families do. And we want you to be a part of our family.
What Should I Expect? (FAQ)
Who, What, When, Where, Why?
We'll be meeting at 10:00 in the back room of the Church. If you show up a little late, we'll still save a plate for you.
Is this the sort of thing I can bring my friends to?
Of course. We want our Easter Service to be as open and inviting as can possibly be. If you or someone you know hasn't been to Church in a while, this is the perfect opportunity. We hope to provide a low-key, no-pressure, stress-free environment where you can relax, make some new friends, and enjoy a delicious breakfast.
Do I need to bring anything?
Nope. The meal is on us. However, if you have any allergies or food preferences, please give us a call or text and we'll make sure you're taken care of. (970) 765-7196
Do I need to wear anything special?
Nope. Come in the clothes that make you feel comfortable.
Is this just a gimmick?
Not really. Sharing a meal together is something that ACC does every single month. Our Church culture is based around the fact that Christians are one big family. We don't just do things like this to attract new people, we do it because that's what families do.
Where do I need to go?
Feel free to come in through the main doors. We will have signs posted that will guide the way. If worse comes to worse, you can always call or text (970) 765-7196 and our minister will show you the way.
What about my kids?
Kids of all ages are welcome, not just on Easter, but every day of the year.
